Once you have viewed a product, you can add it directly to your cart by clicking “Add to cart”.
How to order products
Once you have found the product you are looking for, you can add it to your cart.
To proceed with the purchase, you will need to enter the information required to complete the commercial transaction.
From the Cart page, you can return to the different categories and add other products to your cart. You can also change the quantities of the selected products, remove some items and proceed with the purchase.
After changing quantities or removing items, you must update the cart in order for the changes to take effect.
If you are not sure whether you want to confirm the order, there is no problem: filling the cart is not binding.
To proceed, simply click the “ORDER” button and complete the following page with your details, choosing in particular the payment method you wish to use.
There is no minimum order amount.
How to check the status of your order
After submitting your order, you will always be able to check whether it has been processed, shipped, or whether there have been any issues.
Simply log in from the main page and select the link to view your orders. A list of all the orders you have placed will open, and you will be able to view the details of each order.
An order may have one of the following statuses:
- Submitted but not yet processed;
- Being processed;
- Awaiting payment;
- Fully shipped;
- Partially shipped;
- Cancelled.

To complete a purchase on this e-commerce website, it is necessary to provide the personal data required for the proper management of the purchase order.
Romacoins processes personal data in accordance with the applicable privacy and personal data protection legislation and solely for purposes connected with the management of orders, payments, shipping, tax obligations, accounting requirements and any contractual or pre-contractual communications requested by the customer.
Personal data provided by customers will not be used for commercial information, advertising material, market research or interactive commercial communications unless otherwise expressly stated or consented to by the customer.

Our prices, price list changes and limited-edition items
Due to the rapid variation in product availability, Romacoins makes every effort to update its online price lists in real time.
However, it may happen that some products shown as available at the time of the order are no longer actually available. In such cases, Romacoins will promptly inform the customer of the issue. This is why it is necessary to provide a telephone number, so that the customer can be contacted quickly.
In very rare cases, for items with extremely limited mintages or availability, Romacoins may, at its discretion, limit the purchase of such products where there is clear abuse, after contacting the buyer by telephone in advance or by cancelling the order and refunding the full amount. This is done to give all customers the opportunity to complete their collection.
Shipping costs, options and delivery times
You may choose from different shipping methods depending on the payment method and the destination of the goods.
Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on the destination. Once the order has been placed, you will be able to choose from the available options and select the shipping method that best suits your needs.
All registered shipments are insured for €25.00. All orders with a value equal to or greater than €400.00 are shipped free of charge by Romacoins via DHL courier.
Customers who wish to use a service other than the one offered by Romacoins are asked to indicate this by e-mail or in the order notes.
Upon written request from the customer, parcels can be insured up to a maximum amount of €3,000.00.
Payment methods
When completing the order, you may choose to pay by bank transfer, PayPal, Postepay top-up, credit card through the encrypted SSL GestPay Banca Sella platform, postal current account or cash on delivery.
Cash on delivery is available only for Italy and for a maximum amount of €500.00 per order.
Payment for each order must be received within 7 days from the order date; otherwise, the order will be rejected and cancelled.
Customers who require an invoice are asked to provide their VAT number with the order and to make a specific request when completing the order.
Right of withdrawal and digital withdrawal function
Pursuant to Articles 52 and following of the Italian Consumer Code, the Consumer has a period of 14 calendar days to withdraw from a distance purchase contract, without having to provide any reason and without any penalty.
The 14-day period begins on the day on which the Consumer, or a third party appointed by the Consumer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the product.
In the case of an order relating to several products delivered separately, the period begins on the day on which the Consumer, or a third party appointed by the Consumer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the last product.
The right of withdrawal is reserved exclusively for Consumers, meaning natural persons who purchase for purposes unrelated to any business, commercial, craft or professional activity they may carry out.

To exercise the right of withdrawal relating to an order placed on the website, the Consumer may use the digital withdrawal function available on the dedicated page.
The digital function allows the Consumer to submit the withdrawal declaration online, by entering or confirming the information necessary to identify the contract and the Consumer, including name and surname, e-mail address, order number and the products subject to withdrawal.
After completing the form, the Consumer must confirm the submission of the request using the specific confirmation function in the form, indicated by the wording “Confirm withdrawal” or another equivalent and unambiguous wording.
Following submission of the request, Romacoins will send the Consumer, without undue delay, confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium, for example by e-mail.
The confirmation will contain the content of the withdrawal declaration, as well as the date and time of its transmission.
The right of withdrawal is considered to have been exercised on time if the declaration is sent before the expiry of the 14-day period.
The Consumer may also communicate the withdrawal by means of any other explicit statement of their decision to withdraw from the contract, sent to the contact details indicated on the website, provided that the communication is sent before the expiry of the legal period.
Return of products
The Consumer must return the products without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the date on which they communicated their decision to withdraw from the contract.
The deadline is met if the Consumer sends back the products before the expiry of the 14-day period.
The products must be returned to the address indicated in the confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal or in the subsequent operating instructions sent by Romacoins.
The shipping costs for returning the product are borne by the Consumer, unless otherwise indicated by Romacoins or otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.
It is recommended to use a traceable and secure shipping method, as responsibility for the goods remains with the Consumer until physical delivery to the address indicated for the return.
Product condition and decrease in value
To obtain a full refund, the product must be returned intact, clean, complete with all its parts and, where possible, in its original packaging.
The Consumer is responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
This means that the Consumer may examine the product to check its characteristics and conformity, as they would in a physical shop, but may not use it in a way that is incompatible with such verification.
If the product is returned damaged, worn, dirty, incomplete or otherwise in a condition that causes a decrease in value, the return will still be processed, but an amount corresponding to the decrease in value of the goods may be deducted from the refund, up to the full value of the product if it is no longer suitable for resale.
Refunds
The refund will be made without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the day on which Romacoins was informed of the Consumer’s decision to withdraw from the contract.
Romacoins may withhold the refund until it has received the goods or until the Consumer has provided proof of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the Consumer for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with the Consumer and provided that the Consumer does not incur any costs as a result of the refund.
Romacoins is not required to reimburse any additional costs resulting from the Consumer’s choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by Romacoins.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply
The right of withdrawal is excluded in the cases provided for by Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code.
In particular, by way of example, the right of withdrawal does not apply:
- to the supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalised;
- to the supply of goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- to the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for hygiene or health protection reasons, if opened after delivery;
- to the supply of goods which, after delivery, are by their nature inseparably mixed with other goods;
- to the supply of goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market that Romacoins is unable to control and which may occur during the withdrawal period;
- in any other cases of exclusion provided for by the applicable legislation.
With particular reference to numismatic products, gold products, precious metals or goods whose price is linked to quotations or market fluctuations that cannot be controlled by Romacoins, the right of withdrawal may be excluded within the limits provided for by the applicable legislation.
Where a specific product falls within one of the cases of exclusion from the right of withdrawal, this information will be indicated on the product page or otherwise communicated to the Consumer before the purchase is completed.
Legal guarantee of conformity
The right of withdrawal does not limit or replace the rights granted to the Consumer under the legal guarantee of conformity.
In the event of a defective, non-conforming product or a product different from the one ordered, the Consumer is invited to contact Romacoins using the contact details indicated in the “Contact Information” section of the website, providing the order number and a description of the issue encountered.
Jurisdiction
For disputes with Consumers, the competent court shall be the one provided for by the applicable consumer protection legislation.
For disputes with customers who do not qualify as Consumers, unless otherwise provided by mandatory provisions of law, the Court of Rome shall have jurisdiction.
